Enhanced an existing Allen Bradley PLC 5 & GE FIX HMI system controlling batch process using cyanide and amines to make chelates. Implemented an IT network for the facility, which included 25 PCs, e-mail and print servers. Installed new production line control system using Rockwell PLC’s and GE iFIX HMI.
Performed engineering services for new Emerson DeltaV and Rockwell Controllogix installations on batch distillation column and boiler burner management system. Services included system migration from Siemens APACS to Emerson DeltaV for batch reactor and batch distillation process controls.
Designed and implemented multi-vendor control hardware into Siemens PCS7 DCS for an Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) process line. Additional services included engineering and commissioning Category 4 rated safety system utilizing safety PLC's.
